The 1966 Northwest Grand Prix (NWGP) was the final chapter of several mid-60s Pacific Raceways events of the same name which were headliners on the West Coast road racing circuit.
Charlie Parsons, frequent 60’s competitor at Pacific Raceways, won the 1966 NWGP in his McLaren M1B-Chev.

Portland’s Bill Amick and his McLaren M1B-Mercury took a great 2nd in the 1966 NWGP, one of the few times he duplicated his dominance in local events.
Jensen and his homebuilt Burnette Special got a good 5th overall at the 1966 NWGP.
Masten Gregory in his McLaren-Chev put in the fastest lap (1:20) at the NWGP but failed to finish.
